What the Big Sky Backlit Square Tower is

The Big Sky Backlit Square Tower is a four-sided illuminated trade show tower built on a black 60D aluminium extrusion frame. It holds four separate silicone-edge graphics (SEG) printed on UV backlit fabric, lit from inside by 12 V LED ladder lights. Nine sizes are available, from 4 ft wide × 12 ft tall to 6 ft wide × 16 ft tall, and every tower ships in a wheeled La Caja hard case.

Choose your package

Each size is sold three ways, so you only buy what you need:

• Graphic Package — the complete tower: frame, lighting, all four printed graphics and the hard case. Choose this for a first-time purchase.
• Hardware Only — frame, lighting and case without graphics. Choose this if you already have SEG graphics that fit, or you want to print elsewhere.
• Graphic Only — a single replacement SEG panel. Set the quantity to 4 if you are re-skinning the whole tower.

The shipping case is 48" H × 18" W × 11.5" D for every size. Graphics are produced in 2 business days after proof approval and ship from our California facility.

The dual-voltage transformer means the same tower runs on North American and European show power — useful if your exhibit programme crosses regions.

Graphics and artwork

• Material: UV backlit fabric, printed with UV-cured inks. Colours stay saturated and blacks stay dense with the lights on, which is where cheaper dye-sublimation backlit prints usually wash out.
• Finishing: silicone beading is sewn around the full perimeter of each panel and disappears into the frame groove once installed — no visible hardware, no gaps at the corners.
• Coverage: four sides print; the top and bottom faces are open frame.
• Artwork: download the template for your size below and keep logos and text inside the yellow safe area. On the 4 ft tower, for example, the safe area is 39.5" W × 136" H inside a 45.5" × 145" document.
• Turnaround: 2 business days after you approve the proof.

How to install the SEG graphics

1. Build the frame first. Connect the 60D vertical and 40CG horizontal extrusions with the split connectors and fit the support struts. Use the Torx key supplied.
2. Lay the tower on its side. Graphics go in after assembly, and tilting the frame gives you flat access to one face at a time.
3. Start at the corners. Push the silicone beading into the recessed groove at all four corners of the panel so it is held square.
4. Work outward from the middle. Press the beading in at the midpoint of each edge, then work towards the corners you already anchored. This pulls the fabric drum-tight instead of trapping slack.
5. Repeat for the remaining three sides, rotating the tower as you go, then stand it upright and connect the transformer.

Two people and roughly 30–45 minutes is typical for a full four-sided re-skin.

Frequently asked questions

How tall is the Big Sky backlit square tower?

Heights are 12, 14 and 16 ft. Widths are 4, 5 and 6 ft, and the tower is square, so the footprint matches the width — a 6 × 16 ft tower occupies 6' × 6' and stands 16' tall. Check your hall's hanging-sign and height limits before choosing 16 ft.

Does the price include the printed graphics?

Only the Graphic Package includes all four printed panels. Hardware Only is the frame, lighting and case with no graphics. Graphic Only is one single panel — order a quantity of 4 to cover a complete tower.

Can I change the graphics later without buying a new frame?

Yes. Each side is a separate SEG panel, so you can reprint one damaged side or re-skin the whole tower for a new campaign while keeping the same frame, lights and case. Order the Graphic Only option in your tower's size.

What is the difference between the backlit and non-backlit Big Sky tower?

The backlit version adds LED ladder lights, wiring and a transformer inside the frame, and the graphics are printed on UV backlit fabric so they glow evenly instead of going flat. The non-backlit square tower uses standard SEG fabric and weighs about 8 lbs less per tower.

How long does production take?

Graphics are printed in 2 business days after proof approval, then ship from California. Hardware is custom-made on the premises; contact us for the current frame lead time on your size.

How does it ship, and how heavy is it?

Everything packs into one wheeled La Caja hard case measuring 48" H × 18" W × 11.5" D. Packed weight runs from 84 lbs for the 4 × 12 ft tower to 132 lbs for the 6 × 16 ft, so it travels as freight rather than parcel.

Will it run on European power?

Yes. The transformer accepts 100–120 V AC and 200–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, so the tower works on both North American and European show power with the correct cord.

Do I need tools to assemble it?

Only the Torx key included in the box. The extrusions use split connectors, and the graphics push in by hand.
